Petrocoat undertakes design and build civil projects expansion, refurbishment or alteration and additional works for the existing industrial buildings, warehouses and infrastructure projects. The Petrocoat expert team will conduct a measured survey and prepare the scale drawings required if the civil structures are to be remodelled or extended.
Cementitious Screed
Petrocoat Contracting all things considered specialises in applying Polymer modified cementitious Screed for all types of industries, and commercial as well as infrastructure projects. Our screeds is also suitable for both new constructions and refurbishment projects. We work closely with various world-renowned manufacturers. Such as M/s Conimx, M/s BASF, M/s Sika, M/s Weber, M/s Mapei, and M/s Matex, to ensure our clients’ high degree of satisfaction.
While depending on the stratigraphic layout, we the Petrocoat flooring contracting in Dubai will design the screed as per customer requirements. We offer three types of screeds:
Bonded Screed
Subsequently these screeds are integrated with the base slab. As a result all forces acting on the screed are transmitted via the bond to the base slab. On one hand even so if want to prevent cracking due to internal drying forces. Hence a good bond is essential, especially around the screed’s edges.
Unbonded Screed
They also need to be thicker as a result they also need to be strong enough to resist certain forces. Furthermore these type of screeds are used to install a damp-proof membrane (DPM) between the base slab and the screed. Later most important the base slab surface is unsuitable for a bonded screed due to problems like chemical contamination. Surely these are thicker and stronger to resist certain forces.
Floating Screed
Moreover these screeds rest directly on thermal or acoustic insulation, which is compressible. As a result, they have to distribute any loads. Also forces applied to their surface over as wide an area as possible. Henceforth they have to act in a semi-structural mode.
